Club Announcements

The Fundraising Day produced a total of £536, which is the fifth consecutive year we have raised over £500. A very big thank you to all that helped and supported the Open/Fundraising Day - Linda Dunne completed the London Marathon in a time of 4 Hours and just over 34 minutes. Linda raised just over £1000 which will go to Cancer Research UK and the Michael Sobell hospice. Linda would like to give warmest thanks to everybody at Ladygate who donated to the causes.

Cecil Griffiths

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of long time Ladygate member and past president of the Harrow & District Bowling Association Cecil Griffiths. At this sad time we send our condolences to his wife Jean and to their family and friends.

Funeral details area as follows:

Tuesday June 2nd 2015:

1330hrs committal service at Breakspear crematorium

1430hrs service at St Andrews united reform church, Bridal Road, Eastcote

Everyone is welcome to both services or you can attend either as you wish. After the church service Jean invites everyone over to the church hall to commemorate Cecil’s life. Flowers are welcomed or you can make donations to either the Blind Veterans Association or to the Michael Sobell House.
